Furniture Made for Living
Beautiful furniture shouldn't have to be protected from life.
BP Garage & Wood builds one-of-a-kind tables, desks and custom furniture meant to become part of the places where people live and work.
Every piece begins with a purpose. The room it needs to fit. The people who will gather around it. The wood that gives it character. And the expectation that it will be used, marked, cared for and, someday, have stories of its own.
Built by hand. Built to be used. Built to last.

Built in the Garage. Made for Somewhere Better.
BP Garage & Wood started with a glass dining table Barry Proctor got tired of cleaning.
After years of wiping fingerprints from glass, he decided he wanted a wood table instead. He couldn't find one he liked, so he did the perfectly reasonable thing that someone who had never built a table before would do. He decided to build one.
How hard could it be, right?
Well, that first project became a fascination with wood, tools and craftsmanship that has lasted more than 25 years.
Today, Barry builds one-of-a-kind furniture from his shop in Red Deer, Alberta, bringing the same practical, problem-solving mindset shaped by a career around heavy equipment to every piece he makes.
