BP Garage & Wood started with a glass dining table Barry Proctor got tired of cleaning.
After years of wiping fingerprints from glass, he decided he wanted a wood table instead. He couldn't find one he liked, so he did the perfectly reasonable thing for someone who had never built a table before: he built one.
That first project became a fascination with wood, tools and craftsmanship that has lasted more than 25 years.
Today, Barry builds one-of-a-kind furniture from his shop in Red Deer, Alberta, bringing the same practical, problem-solving mindset shaped by a career around heavy equipment to every piece he makes.
